Brilliant! I've been wanting to self watering buckets and bins, but if I have to buy 2 of each bucket/tote that gets pretty spendy. Not to mention I'm not wanting to watering a bunch of buckets 2 times a day.

Love the simplicity of this! I'm going to have to try this!

Great videos Larry! I have a couple Earth boxes, and some home made earth buckets.. Works great, but like you I have been looking for a way to auto-water. Finding a flat area in my backyard is tough, but I guess I will just have to bite the bullet and use wood blocks or bricks to get level. I am looking at going soil less, with hydroponics, but still sorting it out. I appreciate your videos down here in GA, gonna try your system this spring. thanks,

@bookooc Yes build a couple and like i say "Plant it and forget it" That is what ia awesome! Got to leave town for the eekend or week? no problem! And you only need 1 bucket or tote of any kind takes 20 seconds to make one now it doesn't get any better than that! I am also going to try some grow bags on the unit this year! This watering system is so cool. I'm on this like chickens on a cricket. I am going to use it to meter out rainwater I collect in a 55 gal barrel for a handful of plants I'll be putting in containers on my porch. Thank you for posting the links for the needed float valves and net cups in the description.
