It's hard to think of Gordon today without his sister. Even though it's been a long time, I'm surprised the series didn't acknowledge her death.

@sweetlife031 I think the show didn't acknowledge her death because by the time she died, she had already left the show. I think the same thing happened when Northern Calloway (who played David) died -- they didn't acknowledge his death, because he had already left the show before he died.

@sweetlife031 She left show in 1988, 18 years before her passing. Today's Sesame Street audience wouldn't even know who Olivia was unless they reference her in flashbacks and that would just confuse most 4 year olds.
