  • viva mc donald's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why did you want your robots to look oppressed and sad?

  • Lawls Imagen you'r sleeping in a house together with your family, you wake up

and want to get a snack!

Dont think the creators have thought about that yet :P

  • Which is the robot? The legs or the guy operating them?

  • if it can't navigate stairs, i don't see the point

  • ... what ever happened to electric wheel chairs?

  • I think this is becoming an invention of too much lazyness.

If this will be a transport people will get more fat or even too fat.

  • What about the paraplegic? Didn't think that one through did you? : )

  • @masterpj55 UUh the chair is for handicap ppl who can't walk....

Or ppl whit a broken leg or backbone....

    Right? :O_o''

  • with 3 'spotters' I get the feeling it has fallen before, or is one-of-a kind...

  • lol beats walking!! anyday

  • anyone else reminded of the movie 300?

  • lol this look retarded

  • hmm, interesting comment for someone who's gramer is "Retarded", LEARN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE YOU RETARD

  • i dont give a fuck about english grammair, its my second language so give me a break

  • It's grammar...

  • grammar

  • i assume you meant "grammar" there honey. :P

  • That guy walks slower than my grandma, she falls a lot too!

  • So. What's the point. It's slow, but is a HUGE and IMPRESSIVE tech behind it. I would like to see a handcaped people using this then you saying again it's "slow". :)

  • what if some 1 is infront of the guy in the chair lol can it move around it, and what happens if theres a crack in the ground does it have controls or does it work by it self

  • Japoneses que inventos locos, como los admiro..

  • Are you kidding, you dolts! This is great work! Anything in this direction gives hope to the infirm and disabled. Great!

  • Oh yeah i saw this in star wars episode I

  • Lordy, people. Do you think things like cybernetic limbs and other such proposed medical wonders will just be found on some guys doorstep one morning? It's incremental research like this that paves the way for almost all such developments. It's not like the computer you are reading this on just developed overnight either, you know...

  • Yeah but if they find a practical way to develop this then people who used to have legs can still "walk" it's definitely not the same to roll...Walk and Roll -_-; Besides I've seen this thing go up and down stairs, which wheel chairs (and segways?) cant do...or not safely anyway.

  • There is a new video, this is a work in progress: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQxvBeL6HP0 can walk up stairs.

  • But this is way more fun.

  • I agree , waste of time and energy. balancing wheelchairs based on the segway are far more practical and far more energy efficient, i bet this has to be recharged every 10 mins.

  • Why bother? If you can't use your own legs, get a wheelchair. If you are lazy, roll around in a computer chair. This is a pointless waste of time and money.

  • It's an university project going on for several years, so it is not a waste of time nor money, japanese students are working on this project and learning in the process.

  • if you cant use ur fingger to count, get a papper. Why invent stupid things like calculator or computer?

  • Because counting in 100000000s and 1000000000010000s isn't comfortable with 10 fingers and 10 toes.

  • that is a bit creapy!!

  • I don't like the sound of it, as in all robots, sound need to be silented in androids movements, or it will never look real.
