Just saw this August 1st at the New Amsterdam Theater. It was brilliant and so great for kids (and adults!) A treat. Worth every penny. Magical!

Saw it in New York and saw it In Manchester England, it was exactly the same perfect in every way, and still as magical. If you have not seen it it is worth every penny, Get a good seat though so you don't miss anything.

I think everything is stored under the tables, but mirrors are put in the way so you cannot see behind it, because i heard that when Valentine comes out of the toyhouse, he manages to put his whole body in there because he has more room within the table underneath but its reflected with mirrors. something like that. :) :D x

oh - I aspire to be a west end and broadway star one day:( I really really wish i could find out how to audition on things for stuff like this (mary poppins, chitty chitty bang bang etc.) I'd love to be michael at the moment - then when im older bert. does anyone know how can find out bout these sort of auditions. thanks guys x

The understudy for Burt came from the same children's theater I learned at. Also one of the boys that played young Tarzan. See if there are any in your area. That's a good way to start.

Well the bed thing was when was laying out the bed cloth she kindof covered a little square and the bed came up from below stage or behind the cloth
