if its a stock motor .....yes sir there is a way ....LOL except for the 1971 304 . The horsepower of the 2.5 and the 304 motors runs about the same . If your 4 cyl was set up correctly ....it would stomp almost any V8 out there due to its short stroke and fast gaining rpm's

the CJ weighs between 3,700 and 4,200 lbs. depending on engine/drive options while the Camaro weighs about 3,800 lbs. The CJ and Camaro both have similar final drive ratios (3.54 and 3.73 respectively); the typical 5L in the Camaro has a (rough) 1:1 ratio with hp vs. torque, same as the 5.7, but since it's highly modified to be a (claimed) 485hp, we don't know what the torque is, but let's just say it's the stock 290 ft/lbs. The '82 CJ with a 304 ran 125hp and 220 ft/lbs. i.e. IMPOSSIBLE AND BS!

If the video simply said, x Camaro vs. 82 CJ with 572, I wouldn't have said anything... But for him to claim what the vid claims and then to brag about beating a Camaro with HALF the power is just ridiculous to me...

@geoquin4 A stock CJ-7 With the heavy Ass 258 Inline six was 3100 LBS, this one has no top, minus 60-85 lbs, and the 258 at around 400 LBS is the same if not more than most 350's. So I'd Put the Cj7 at about 3400 LBS max with the driver and 6 gallons

@geoquin4 The CJ-7 Curb Weight with the 258 was 3100 LBS. It had no top and even if it has a 502 It is surely no more than 3400 LBS with The driver and Fuel. The 258 was 400 lbs approx.
