Very nice effect. Fits your art style. The only bad thing I have to say is that it will seem unnatural if the currents don't "flow" with the rest of the animation. Also I was going to point out there was no light reflection or refraction on the water, but you have your signature red smog in the sky... Altogether a pretty unique but not yet fully polished artistic direction.

The lack of refration is because there is no "sun" in that world.
Now I'll try to add some better waves on it, thanks for the tips!
