So I'm not really a big Neela fan, I'm a Maura fan. But for some ungodly reason I like Neela's ending more. I love how it shows her first encounter with everyone. I kinda wish they did that with Abby. But the music for this one always makes me tear up. Not sure why.

Okay so I never was a big fan of neela....although I do like this episode of her.

When she was lookin at the names on the wall....first lockhart...that like jerked the tears cuz well ya know Abby and neela were best friends. Oh and when neela called Abby! I never saw it on tv so it was like HOLY SHIT ABBY/MAURA. Hahaha

Both these clips are great ^^ I actually liked how the Ray/Neela meeting ended. They didn't need to kiss to prove their feelings for each other. It was obvious from the start. I thought Ray's 'finally' captured the moment way more than a kiss could ^^

I love how the first thing Neela does when she steps off the plane is go and find Ray - her true love!!! Amazing scene - so moving after everything they've been through.

Yes she does end up with Ray but ER writer mess that whole reunion up. No hug, kiss or conversation. I think NBC/ER writers have in for Shane West because they gave about 20 second of scene time. It was wrong to have us wait sooo long. Neela kissed Simon at the aiport and could show more affection for Ray. It was just wrong how these ER writer BUCHERED the REELA happy ending.

nice episode but why not plotting it sooner, I mean why wait until the near end of ER to make it hapen because personaly I would have like to see more of Neela and Ray back together, we are left with just a 20 seconds scene between them, people who have been watching this show forever need to adjust to disappearance of characters and end of the show too. So make it last a bit more would have been better in my opinion

apart from this, great episode as always, i'll really miss ER when it's over.

Am I the only one who found the scene with Neela and Haleh in the basement, very touching? Nobody has really mentioned it. For me, it was the most dramatic part of the episode (I saw the Ray/Neela thing coming a million miles away and yes it was GREAT too!).

They really did the Haleh/Neela scene perfect. I'm so glad I can revisit it here. :)

ITA with you. It was so significant having Haleh be the one to take her down to the basement, as she has been there from the ever 1st episode of the show. The actress did a very fantastic job with the character of Neela over the years and made her one of the more memorable characters in the show's entire run.

p.s.......by the time she got to Ray, though her pregnancy bump wasn't so hidden anymore :-)
