  • I do not think there will be another one seeing as the Joes are supposed be a clandestine organization in the newer series and there is not a whole lot ways to keep an aircraft carrier hidden.

  • there is a variant of the yellow vehicle, i have both but im missing the cover on one, one came in a bright yellow and one in a noticeable mustard color, it took me almost 5 months to complete my flagg, the last and hardest part for me to find was one of the two parts of the antennna, everything else i was lucky to find through other collectors

  • my dad and i love gi joe and my first one distro.

  • how much money would this be worth now, i hear they are supposed to be making a new one, but i dont know if that is true or not, what with all the economy budgets and everything.

  • @masterchiefboy11 Probably worth around $700 - $900.

I don't think Hasbro is going to make a new aircraft carrier, unless its a major setting in the new movie and if the movie does really really well. Even then, it will probably be small (like the 3 foot prototype made for Resolute) or just a conning tower section.

  • @formbx257

I just saw a mint in box with an outer JC penney shipping box w/ G.I. joe logo etc for $920. ($200 shipping)

I think that was a steal. Too bad my credit cards were maxed, 'cause that was exactly what I was waiting for. Oh, well.

  • What? Those Real American Heroes aren't made in the US of A?

  • 1# my favorite toysgi joe

  • I lived in England throughout the 1980s as my Dad was in the Air Force. The U.S.S. Flagg was definitely not something I ever saw in the base stores, but a friend of mine up the street had it. He was the envy of my existence.

  • Us Kids in England would of lost our minds if we saw this!!!

  • 0 dislikes because you can't dislike this unless you have no taste in awesomeness!

  • How do you get all these wonderful toys? No, really.

  • @Karrio73 Not all the stuff is in great condition, it just looks that way in video :)

Almost all of my boxed stuff was bought pre-assembled with the box, not sealed or unassembled. When I started collecting in the '90's, carded and boxed items were cheaper.

  • @Karrio73 ebay???

  • You gotta tell me... How did you get all this stuff in such great cond? I have loose stuff, but with how much mic misb stuff goes for, I always wonder how people do it.

  • This was my last toy present as a kid (became a video game junkie). I remember the box to mine being thinner and longer. So my question is, Was version did I have?

  • @Insanitymatrix There are three possibilities: the camera angle I'm showing my box is making it look a bit square (it really is a rectangle). It is also possible that your parents put your USS Flagg into a smaller, more manageable box. To my knowledge, the box dimensions were never changed, but Hasbro was always changing the toy specs, so I can't rule that out.

  • @Insanitymatrix

video games > any gi joe toy from the 80s

  • i want this guys toys!

  • im 36yrs old & i still want one of these.

    can i have urs?

  • @NitroNate6

lol same here. I wanted one of these so badly as a kid, buy my parents wouldnt get it for me. I did have the headquaters. Id probably play with it now if I could get a hold of one.

  • The pistols name is the M1911 It was made by Browning (this is what I found out. I have researched vintage weapons and it said it was made by both Colt and Browning) and was the normal service pistol from WWII to Vietnam. It has been refurbished to a newer version now, and is used by Marine Corp. special forces (Force Recon. MARSOC) ((correct me if I am wrong))

  • @Grunt51001 I found out why the pistol is misnamed. In 1986, the carded General Hawk came with a black re-mold of this pistol but all new guns were up-scaled from that year on. So in order to explain what the now tiny gun was: they called it a PPK (compared to the Browning Lifeline came with the size is inaccurate). Unofficially, Keel-Haul's gun was named a PPK because of this, perpetuating the mistake.

  • I remember seeing one at Kaybee Toystore when it came out. Oh why oh why didn't I get it. DAMN!!! Atleast I had the Cobra Terror Drome.

  • Yes it's a Colt .45

  • your right its a colt .45

  • Also noticeably absent... your lazy-susan not turning that behemoth, when you were trying to showcase the back of the box. :)

  • Fantastic review (watched part 2 as well). Not to promote desecration of the box, but I've recently cut and framed my Headquarters Command Center. The Flagg's box would make a great art piece itself. As would several of the toy's box art.

  • Thank you so much for doing this perfect videos !!! I always wanted to see and know so much details and measure reference from the flagg, and from the box

  • u know how much that cost bran new

  • @kuklok1989 In the US it cost between $90 to $110. In Canada it cost between $149 to $159.

  • @kuklok1989 In the US it cost between $90 to $110. In Canada it was $149 to $159.

  • @formbx257 it was $99.99 when i was 9. i wanted it so bad but i knew as soon as i saw the price i knew it would never be mine.

  • Wow, i never seen the box before, it's seriously an awesome sight! My god, the amount of pieces in the box, it looked scary when unassembled! Again, awesome review, Kevin! :D

  • @lunacy05 Thanks for viewing! Even with some pre-assembled parts and not including the fuel trailer, sound system and 6 missiles, there are still 76 parts to put together!

  • do you have facebook for gijoe reviews?

  • @Gothiczartan no, I don't have a facebook account.

  • wow, i would definetely get that if i had a place to put it and $500-$1000 to spend on it. Id also like to extend a special thanks to formbx257 for what is, to my knowledge the only USS Flagg review on Youtube and even if there was amore than this review i think that formsbx257's would be the most in depth and detailed review

  • @PloK00nsClone You're making me blush! Actually, Wheelbreaker41 did a review of his USS Flagg a few weeks ago. He did things like place figures and vehicles on the decks for scale, which I chose not to repeat. Check him out, he's got other 80's toy line reviews!

  • Amazing. simply amazing. can you imagine as a kid trying to assemble this thing, when its large as a bed.

Thanks for the vid. Cant wait to see the rest.

  • That is mad awesome!!!! I never had this as a kid, but I did get to see one in person a couple of years ago and it was massive! Soooo jealous!!!

  • Awesome!

  • you know what you can do to eliminate your Tape Residue for the doors ? ...... you should wrap it with plastic wrap and the tape the plastic together ... you know what I mean ? ... or maybe used bubble wrap .

  • Nice :)

  • Wow... It's like you're building a large piece of furniture!

  • I am still so upset that I got this for Xmas '85 and didn't want it...drats!

  • The pistol is a colt

  • I wanted to get this for my birthday but I got a skystriker instead, it was a win win.
