is the frist game i play in me life when the faction zerg (when more pp are playing) is rewarded easy, in other mmo games when u join the faction where are less players u are rewarded with more easy things!! The people of Bioware lost me account in game and too me confidence for buy another games!!

the game from 1-49 was fine cause in fact its a Rpg with a chat windows... nothing more to say about the non exsistent endgame, buggy raids and ultra boring pvp grinding. oh and hundreds of bugs been addressed in the beta with no change at all when game released.. seriously, I love Star War, eveyone does :) but were in 2012 and Bioware just failled cause we expected alot more from them. they had 5 years in development. have fun :)

I don't get why people are so up in arms over the endgame content of a brand new game. If they are trying to compare it to WoW that's just stupid. That game has 8 years of content(and how much of it is actually decent?). With an active player-base this game will go far IMO!
I am embarrassed that I allowed myself to just be so over hyped for this game and followed it since 2009 and then was so utterly disappointed. Well, time to do the exact same thing with GW2!
@nyzmikey except Arena news been working on this since 2009 keeping to quite till 2010. and making it to the highest quality they can, thats one of the reasons I wasnt released in 2011. They felt that they had more to do. This is why they didn't annouce the mesmer in 2011, it had balancing issues. Its one of the reasons why ArenaNet is one of THE BEST game studios in the world...

Its due to RAM shortage 99% sure, when i was in ilum at this time, i crashed, looked at my ram, SWTOR was using 6.8 GB, (USING) not saving in catche, but using 6.8gb ram ....
Sorry guys, but it's not his computer's fault. Everyone on ilum complains about this. I too have consistent high fps (brand new comp with twin frozr 6950) but even when you have battles on ilum 1/3rd this size it gets choppy. I know it's not his comps fault because bioware has already admitted to the problem. There are multiple areas where fps suffers for lesser machines too. I think you're missing the point of the video anyway. It's to point out the faction imbalance.
@Trusteft because it depends on your internet service, the graphics your using for the game and the graphics card of your computer. all mmos dont have lag when created just like wow or guild wars. its created by the your computers inability to process the large amount of files that are given in a short amount of time.

Obviously it is either the computer not handling the calculations (be it graphics or not), or latency issue. However, latency (ie lag) can't be the main issue here because everything "lags", even the camera view, which point to the direction it is most likely a computer issue, be it hardware or software (drivers etc).

This is only a world pvp zone not how all of end game , should be judge. There are a lot of stuff that needs works as any MMO in its first month usually has to deal with but theres a ton of end game content that is killer fun.This would be comparable to Wintergrasp in WOW which never quite worked to be honest.
@maimshark Have you played it? I remember also thinking "wow, this looks like total shit" from watching video clips, but ended up finding the game pretty fun when I actually played it. The quests/leveling are at least as fun as WoW's, and the game runs fine on my computer. While it could be reasonably argued that MMO's as a genre are pretty lame, TOR is easily an above average MMO.

I honestly expected this game to be shit going into it (and only got it because a couple friends were), but it's been surprisingly enjoyable. But I play MMOs for the processing of leveling up, not the end-game, and I'm enjoying the process more than I did in WoW (I think due to the more single-player feel). I don't know how the end-game to this could possibly be enjoyable, but it doesn't really matter to me since my intent is just to level up a couple characters with friends.

This MMO is absolutely fantastic and I think you should reconsider buying it. This guy simply has a crappy PC I suppose, or maybe he should at least lower the settings on his computer by a ton, explaining the crappy frame rate.
@jshrbls Not true. The poor FPS is because of lack of dedicated server space. I usually run 30-40 FPS but on Ilum it's closer to 15. Sometimes it momentarily drops below 5.

I know because everyone's always complaining about it. You shouldn't need a liquid cooled 4000$ pc to run this thing. Its fixable on their end and if the rest of the game runs ok. Don't replace your pc.

Sorry guys, but it's not his computer's fault. Everyone on ilum complains about this. I too have consistent high fps (brand new comp with twin frozr 6950) but even when you have battles on ilum 1/3rd this size it gets choppy. I know it's not his comps fault because bioware has already admitted to the problem. There are multiple areas where fps suffers for lesser machines too. I think you're missing the point of the video anyway. It's to point out the faction imbalance.

@Trusteft because it depends on your internet service, the graphics your using for the game and the graphics card of your computer. all mmos dont have lag when created just like wow or guild wars. its created by the your computers inability to process the large amount of files that are given in a short amount of time.

Obviously it is either the computer not handling the calculations (be it graphics or not), or latency issue. However, latency (ie lag) can't be the main issue here because everything "lags", even the camera view, which point to the direction it is most likely a computer issue, be it hardware or software (drivers etc).

This is only a world pvp zone not how all of end game , should be judge. There are a lot of stuff that needs works as any MMO in its first month usually has to deal with but theres a ton of end game content that is killer fun.This would be comparable to Wintergrasp in WOW which never quite worked to be honest.

@maimshark Have you played it? I remember also thinking "wow, this looks like total shit" from watching video clips, but ended up finding the game pretty fun when I actually played it. The quests/leveling are at least as fun as WoW's, and the game runs fine on my computer. While it could be reasonably argued that MMO's as a genre are pretty lame, TOR is easily an above average MMO.

I honestly expected this game to be shit going into it (and only got it because a couple friends were), but it's been surprisingly enjoyable. But I play MMOs for the processing of leveling up, not the end-game, and I'm enjoying the process more than I did in WoW (I think due to the more single-player feel). I don't know how the end-game to this could possibly be enjoyable, but it doesn't really matter to me since my intent is just to level up a couple characters with friends.

@themasteriswatching Nope, you made the wrong decision, if you were worried about spawn camping, they have made it now in the most recent patch that enemies cannot enter you safe zone, so spawn camping is eliminated. This MMO is absolutely fantastic and I think you should reconsider buying it. This guy simply has a crappy PC I suppose, or maybe he should at least lower the settings on his computer by a ton, explaining the crappy frame rate.

@jshrbls Not true. The poor FPS is because of lack of dedicated server space. I usually run 30-40 FPS but on Ilum it's closer to 15. Sometimes it momentarily drops below 5.
