  • Fantastic stuff, that pass Paul made on Andrian Fernadez was wicked.

I really miss great racing like this.

  • thanx tony george for killing this with your greeeeed.

  • i miss the champ car days. those cars were so much better than the sad excuse of a car the indycar series uses now. indy needs more manufacturers.i like the power to pass idea but it didnt help the 09 race at mid ohio at all. hate to say but it was boring. i would kno...i was there

  • look at the crowds, damn.

  • i kno, but rain at a road course

  • In rain you're slow than if it's dry, so they could not match teh friday times...

  • i was only a few months old for this race so can someone tell me how a road course race quals got rained out?

  • I remember this race, and even though no one was a match for the Penske cars, there was still awesome action thoughout. I love Mid Ohio and can't wait to head back there in June.

  • too bad these cars in 1994 were faster and harder to drive. and the drivers, teams and fans cared more than today.

indycar is over and has been since 1 year after this race.

  • Hectic racing , but good stuff!

  • I used to have the actual broadcast of this race on tape, but I foolishly taped over it with Indy 500 coverage from 2004. Of course, that was before I appreciated IndyCar racing from this era.

  • best race so far

  • Very true, Gordon was on it when Tracey and Al Jr came up to lap him. Still can't get over the size of the grids in 1994, Upto 32 cars for some races, un heard of these days with Champ Car & IRL struggling to get 20 cars at least.
