I saw a cop and tried driving away but he followed me and saw my tracks. I said i was trying to learn car control in case the rear end slips out while driving home. Snow tires are a must, even with AWD. That is why your drift was weak (tire spin). You'll carry tons more speed into and out of the drift with the right tires. That is the main reason why I can drive circles around the Ken Block fanboys here in WI with 7" of snow in a 22 year old turbo audi with mods. They're on Falkens, I'm on dunlop snow tires.

If it snows more than 1 month out of the year where you live, drop the $400 on a set of snows. You won't regret it.
