Does yours put up a fight to get him/her out of his/her cage? I had one die right next to the others, and ever since, they all seem so much more frightened and skittish. :/

They aren't native to anywhere they just seem to appear in warm tropical climates in fact in puerto Rico they grow particularly large. 14in. Claws 16in atenna.
erm i like insects especially scorpion and beetles, but i find that whip scorpion is cool because it spray sumthing when u disturb him....i would like to have one but i ill nvr hand them like u -,-
Australia is so fuckin paranoid about foreign spieces introduction. It's totally overkill. This spieces poses no danger to the eco system. Muslims do :p
I noticed a tank behind you, is that for the Amblypygid? Because they like more vertical spaces to live, they don't spend much time walking as other creatures along flat surfaces, all of mine hang and move along the walls of the habitats, they also need this in order to moult as they hang from the ceiling or wall and gravity helps to do its thing. Its very sweet the one you have though, my adult female just gave birth to 35 of these little fellas and they are adorable, bringing me a total of 58

Little curious, why are they also referenced as the cave spider?
Chronoteeth 2 years ago
Well, they do live in caves, and basically wherever it's moist. It's like calling manatees "sea cows." Not accurate, but a generality.
