  • Does yours put up a fight to get him/her out of his/her cage? I had one die right next to the others, and ever since, they all seem so much more frightened and skittish. :/

How many younguns are usually in a litter?

  • Australia is so fuckin paranoid about foreign spieces introduction. It's totally overkill. This spieces poses no danger to the eco system. Muslims do :p

  • any idea where i can get one of these? and xome sort of price range?

  • I got mine from a reputable exotic pet shop. He was $25

  • i just ordered one.. can't wait to get him/her! Such an awesome creature!

  • Little curious, why are they also referenced as the cave spider?

  • Well, they do live in caves, and basically wherever it's moist. It's like calling manatees "sea cows." Not accurate, but a generality.

  • scariest thing i have ever seen!

  • I noticed a tank behind you, is that for the Amblypygid? Because they like more vertical spaces to live, they don't spend much time walking as other creatures along flat surfaces, all of mine hang and move along the walls of the habitats, they also need this in order to moult as they hang from the ceiling or wall and gravity helps to do its thing. Its very sweet the one you have though, my adult female just gave birth to 35 of these little fellas and they are adorable, bringing me a total of 58

  • can you post a video after it has grown big provided nothing happens to him/her?

  • yes, but sadly this

one died a few weeks ago :(

-- its brother/sister is still alive, though.

  • oh no..

good luck raising the others :)

  • So what would you feed a little guy like that

  • lol look at her him go.
