I have no idea, I've noticed a lot of tourists say Maryborough strange, even aussies from out of state. They tend to over pronounce the Mary. We were going to see if we could make it to Townsville to see you on our roadtrip actually but ran out of time unfortunately. One day we'll have to road trip the coast ^_^
