Even tho I don't this song, at a few parts/lines, it seems like she's just dragging the word from before because she can't get it.

She has a good voice, very beautiful, right tone, but (although I don't know this song at all) she doesn't seem like she's even singing the words right, considering she probably has no experience of singing Japanese songs (I could be wrong, but it really seems that way.)

She has the right tone in her voice - Hit the pitch almost perfect for the song. Her timing is WAY off. Her rhythm isn't quite there. Not enough lung power to belt the chorus. And her pronunciation isn't quite there - All minor things, though, really.

BUT despite all that - She did do quite well - I will give her credit for getting up there and giving it her all, and rocking out that song!

I agree that the video doesn't quite do her justice - I'm sure it sounded better live.

This recording *really* doesn't do her performance justice. She was tremendous live.  I can't WAIT for AX '09!!!

I was there too. She did very well. The videos don't really do any justice to her voice or the other contestants like the guy who sang the cowboy bebop and the winner who did crazily good and couldn't be appreciated it in the video.

Vince12345, I used a Sony Handycam. I looked through the camcorder's viewfinder instead of having the LCD out, because that probably would have attracted attention. It would have been nice if I was closer.
