All switches are cheaply made, even the one for the bb slide which is held in place by one small silly screw.
Sometimes the switch for 1,4,8 will move on its own when firing, tends to wear out after been moved from one setting the next. Its very weak, and one has to be careful when moving between settings. The battery compartment is a pain, sometimes batteries will get jammed, or not give good connection.
The worst part is there are next to no mods for this gun, none in zdrod site.
Yes to pigeon. rabbits if co2 is fresh. I recommend buying the adapter sure its $30 but in the long run you save money. It connects to any standard Co2 or HPA tank used in paintballing the air last longer due to the bigger tank and a refill is only $3 for a 20 oz tank! Also a remote coil for the adapter so the tank isnt bulky on stock. you can find the adapter online at airgun depot called bulk fill adapter and the coil at any online paintball store

i have some questions....hope you can answer.... i have the same gun, went to walmart and found 90 g CO2,...will that work too?????...also have a 12 Oz refillable tank. my question is where can i refill it and where do i get the adaptor?? thanks in advance....
@semperfi253 Yeah I know I've been collecting them since 1984 when the first generation toys came out. I still have some of the original toys in good condition.
@tjcoolj13 At the moment I have no basis of comparison. But from what I have seen, it is a good gun if you like the Uzi type pistols. I got the EBOS primarily because it has a shoulder stock and I knew it would be easier to modify since the rear of the gun can be accessed. The steel storm will take additional steps to modify it.
would this take out rabbits if not would it take out pigeons because I have a BSA r10 but I would like a gun to use in the field we own behind my house this distance is about 30 yards
@ADFX11 I would not know, I don't hunt or kill living creatures with this gun. It is just for target practice. The closest thing I do to hunting is fishing.
@ADFX11 NO!!! stick with ur r10 and if ur looking for shooting rabits try a strong springer, but if ur looking for multiple shots u can get a pcp bolt action(marauder is good) .22 would be necesary. now if its for pigeons a bb gun isn't the usual candidate, but u "could"? go for a normal springer.177 or.22 would both work. tech force makes fare guns that r about 100$
@ADFX11 This is a pretty strong gunn soo if u get a clean hit on a rabbit it might kill it, pigeons it definitley should it has i higher velocioty than most air guns
@TheGrimfantasy It is only the outside that is plastic. All internals are full metal up to the barrel. The plastic is just there for aestetics, I've already installed metal railings, and connected a CO2 tank. I have another video of the it in how to connect a tank to it, via remote line or through the back.
From my observation when I dismantled the extra EBOS, it looks like a high flow piloted solenoid valve. It was sealed in the metal casing.
I can get about 400 shots from an 88 gram approximately. I did not do a count, I just fill up the hopper to brim, and I was able to finish up at least half a bottle of 2000 bb with one 88 gram.
The video I mentioned approximately 200 shots, based on what the manual had mentioned.
The reason I ask is becouse I´ve made one alike using a pneumatic valve tha has a qev built in and has a air piloted solenoid.so, lots of air is used becouse of the cilinder that pushes the bb into the barrel and opens the qev.but I guess all the guns that uses the same concept waist more air than the single action ones since some of the air or co2 is used to cycle the gun.that´s a cool gun thou.
Looks like it needs a mod to make it shoot a bit faster in full auto mode, but I'm sure there will be some mods coming! And a Red Dot to make it complete! It's nice to see a lower priced competitor to the Drozd series of BB machine guns.
Yeah, true. I was going to get the Drozd but I got the EBOS for the highter fps. The only problem I have with any BB guns is that the BB bounces. I usually go for a higher fps so that at least the BB would have a better chance of going through my plastic targets versus bouncing off.
All the BB pellets in that video completely went through the box and fortunately I had angled the sheet metal in that box so it will bounce at a downward angle into the skillket below it.
@fdelapena001 The Drozd actually shoots a lot harder than claimed, when you add a bit longer barrel and bulk-air it can get upwards to 800fps. It's a bit scary!
@switchingtomac yup,im waiting for the tactical barrel kit and a bulk-air mod,and with some strong batteries and alittle tampering with the solenoid,this baby,that is the drozd,can even reach up to about 950 fps,according to some sources..thats sick!!its just something about cheap plastic,and the sound of bbs rolling around in the mag.The drozd has a weapon-grade metal mag,and is made of high quality weapon-grade plastic.The drozd is manufactured by Baikal,a russian firearm company,nuff said..

BBs are different from pellets. I doubt that thing would feed pellets.

I'd probably buy it if It wasn't made out of plastic, I'd go with a semi just for one being metal

I never tried upgrading the battery, but it may or may not. I will eventually modify it to use a battery pack one of these days.

does it increase FPS if u upgrade the battery ? 15 volts.

Does it uses a solenoid to fire like the Drozd or its like a air piloted solenoide?
how many shots you get from a 88 grams? thanks

@mainvain820 It is listed at 540 fps. But I have not measured the velocity with an external tank.

Thx for this, first vid of it. Also, how loud is the gun?
PrestonW101 1 year ago
@PrestonW101
It can get loud when you first install the 88gram, and if you install a CO2 tank with a remote line. But overall it is not too loud.
It does sound loud in the video since I was in an enclosed room. But outdoors, the sound is not too loud.

@fdelapena001
Gamo makes lead BBs, which will alleviate most of those problems, plus they hit quite a bit harder.
Pyramydair sells them for $4/250.
You get far less likelihood of ricochet, plus they really hammer animals if you are out hunting.
