Gene Griffin was the other half of GR Productions with Teddy Riley (KING OF THE NEW JACK SWING). Teddy and Guy sued Gene Griffin for stealing millions of dollars from them (mostly Teddy). He was taking credit for writing and producing music that he had nothing to do with. The lead singer was made to sound just like Aaron Hall!
basic black was a basic rip off of guy...after guy got rid of their manerger geene griffen..he stole guy musyc and started basic black...listen to them sound a lot like arron hall singing
and before anyone sez anything i know teddy riley ain't on this!! but gene griffin done another great job on this... even without teddy and aaron...that's all i'm sayin'...
