Are sharp objects against the rules in the vex competition...im not familiar bc my school only competes in FRC and this is the first year in VEX

They are very rigid, not like foam rubber, more like a heavy Styrofoam. The PE is the same stuff milk jugs are made of.

hey what are the blocks made of and how heavy are they
The blocks are made of a dense foam and weigh about 16 grams, or .56 ounces each.
The foam is a Crosslink PE (Polyethylene) if anyone cares the exact type.
Cant wait for the competition here at Cali. Me an my team have to think of a new robot now. Great vid.

They should be available on vexrobotics soon after we get them in. These are prototypes so the final product may differ slightly.
