  • i dont need to go to school, i can learn everything onthis channel =]

  • i have a goo sound in my ear, my heart is beating faster, and I wake up all night, been like that for about a year. Dr said i need a root canal, but im waiting. Are these symptoms of RC surgery?

  • ;_;

  • can you have an abscess and not know about it?

  • i have an abscess and it hurts like hell!! i went to the dentist two days ago and they had to clean it. half my mouth is still numb, and i have to go three more times :/ im in pain! :'(

  • This information is INCORRECT. Proper endodontic treatment ( without the need for the prescription of systemic drugs) is an effective way to treat the problem. Immediately throwing antibiotics at such cases is uninformed, irresponsible and dangerous (possible allergic reactions). Please research your material. A regimen of antibiotics is not indicated in an otherwise healthy patient for a small localized swelling without systemic signs and symptoms of infection or spread of infection.

  • @DeepFill86 yeah u r ite actually in abcess we dont need anti biotics because body has walled off the infection inocculum we just have to give incision and drainage. i.e remove the casue

  • awesome animation

  • I've has 2 dental abscesses in the past, eventually resulting in the loss of a tooth. It was the most horrendous pain ever - and I've given birth twice! Now I make sure I take care of my teeth and brush every day.

  • when i had this (when i was i child) i busted the bump on my gum then pulled out the tooth

  • Brb im brushing my teeth so i dot get no puss under my teeth O.e

  • Thank you for your post. I have this problem and now will get the right kind of help.

  • As much money as dentists make, they need to provide a free antibiotic sample package of 3 or 4 capsules of Amoxicillin or Penicillin to give to the patient who cannot afford to pay BOTH costs of the dental office co-pay AND the price of the antibiotics on the same day. By making sure the patient takes the first sample of the antibiotic BEFORE they leave the dental office, this will help to prevent any infection in the gums from getting worse until they can pay for the prescription filling.

  • go and brush your teeth now!

  • thank you for this post! i have many clients who have been helped by the Q1000 Cold Laser and Immune Cleanse with osteomyelitis of the jaw! Your animation and very helpful!! Sandi Buchanan

  • I have just had this thankfully got some penicillin from nhs dentist, the thing is what happened 100's of yrs ago when there was no penicicillin?

  • mine is huge..im taking an antibodic for it. and this really helped. i brush my teeth, but i tend to forget know and then. i always scratch the plaque off. i really need braces

  • i have one right now and that hurts very mutch my face is almost exploding is so big and that really hurts

  • Yeah, get this: My insurance company stopped paying for cavity fillings, root canals, AND any kind of cosmetic work for teeth. They will only pay to get the tooth pulled!! So if you have a cavity, you're shit outta luck cuz you gotta get the entire tooth pulled! And if you have to get a shitload of teeth pulled cuz you have cavities(even ppl who take good care of teeth get them!)you'll be eating creamed corn the rest of your life cuz they don't pay for dentures either! THIS WORLD IS SO MESSED UP

  • Poor Brits . . . I bet they to put up with a lot of this since they have such bad teeth.

  • @collegeman1988 what year do you think this is, kid?

  • i think this is what happened to me .. in result i removed all wisdom teeth .. i swelled up so bad cuz of this infection i had i guess and had to go to the ER ... they gave me a paper saying dental absess ... i don't wish tooth pain on anyone

  • time to go floss!!

  • omg, it hurts

  • How long does it take for the bacteria to spread to another teeth or other bone?

  • @PatelDarshil depends on the progression of the infection. Months...Maybe a year. Use colloidal silver and it will destroy the infection. Its a natural antibiotic and highly recommended.

  • Tooth pain is the worst. I've been living with a tooth infection for 3 years now. I did not have insurance, but now I do & i'm getting it tooken care of. Although I think it spread. :/

  • this is really helpful...I think I may have an abcess because I have a fill in that fell out and I never got treatment for it - no insurance :( - now I am experiencing pain in my jaw. I would like to save the tooth but I think it will need to be pulled. Pulling it is cheaper than saving it.

  • very informative... i have gigivitis :(

  • I have serous pain just above my top left tooth I need to see a dentist ASAP I think I have an abses!

  • right now i am having pain right under my jaw and i gotta pay $1435 just to get the tooth retreated god help me where am gona find that money.

  • @AKUJU : I am so sorry, I know that doesn't help.....I am in the same boat as you, can't sleep for 3 nights.....no insurance.....Maybe you can sign up for Medi-Cal or something like that.....don't know where you are. Some dentists will let you make payments.....

  • @AKUJU i dont live in the usa but i believe that dentists and doctors out there are criminals that ask so much money out of peoples pain..being a doctor is a vocation not a profession

  • I'm confused...I've never had a cavity in my life, but there are two white spots on my upper and lower gums. One (bigger than the second) is up against my superior labial frenulum (hope that's the right name), and the other very small one is on my lower right gum. Canker sores aren't common on the gums right?

  • dont let these things go untreated people. i did...just kept taking antibiotics i had brought back from europe (they sell them OTC there in some spots) and would let it go. this past week was hell because i ended up with a neck abscess. talk about PAIN!!! im 31 and it had me up at night and in the early morning rocking back and forth, sobbing like a baby. the tooth didnt even hurt...its was all my neck. i had to go to the er.

  • i have a gum abscess and there is blister/boil on the gums. right now its ruptured and pus is draining into my mouth(it tastes and smell AWFUL btw) i rinced with water and covered it with gauze. dunno what else to do. i called my dentist and said its normal, im feeling no pain and have antibiotics. so feedback would be nice

  • @gotpsp06 Usually once the abscess is lanced (drained) the pain is gone too, partly because what you're feeling is the pressure building and pressing tightly on the surrounding tissues. Be sure you are using the right kind of antibiotics, and only a doctor can tell you, or perhaps a pharmaieutical technician. Various antibiotic medication are used to treat the many varieties of tissue on a body, or to treat a specific organ in the body so not every aantibiotic will work to treat the gingiva.

  • I didn't know this carried her to the

  • how long does it take before it spreads to you neck or brain?

  • Why wouldn't you be a fan if the nhs? Free health care for all? What's not to like?

  • i have a dental abscess, i haven't had anything to eat in almost 24 hours!

its painful and the side of my face is numb, but after the dentist visit it will all br over...

  • I'm not a great fan of the NHS but I take my hat off to you for making this knowledge available and pitching it just right for the layman. Suffering from an abcess it's helpful to know what is happening. 5 stars....

  • @40of50 I totally agree, I had to remove a tooth the other day and i was having problems with dentalabscess on that tooth, and maybe one more, I hated it, it was painfull and my cheecks looked terribel since it swelled..... this vidd was good, but how is it possible to know that the bacteria spread to face, brain and neck?

  • @yudontsay bacteria can move throughout the bloodstream to any part of the body thus infecting other areas which can lead to serious problems and death

  • @jtinkov89 yudontsay's question was ... how do you know if the bacteria has spread that far ?

I have the same question, how do you know when your average typical abscess becomes potentially life threatening ?

  • @theforceq Hmmmmm when u start getting prodormal symptoms( fever, pain, feeling not to well....the video didnt mentioned that bacteria can spread and cause problems with your heart and even more ocasionaly to implants in the heart or joints),it depends also on your body immune system....let me tell it this way...its an infection like any other ...and it spreads.....if your body cant take it normaly.......well your in a hell of a ride...so treat it before it spreads

  • @yudontsay it is possible and i would know first hand, and you know when its happening when your neck starts to swell up as well as your brain but those will take weeks to develope o and i almost forgot the only way you know if you brain is swelled up is you get exessive nose bleeds and eventually you will be hospitalized
