Schitzophrenia tends to show itself in the early stage of adulthood (20-25). People love to say drugs did this to Syd, but I've always felt it was Schitzophrenia. The pressures of touring and maintaining the RnR lifestyle didn't help. In the end it was Syd's brain that betrayed him. Ican't help but feel sad when I hear Syd's music. There's no romance in Syd's collapse, only tradgety.
