I remember hearing this play during the credits (SPOILERS) after Tyrion was captured by Catelyn. That scene was absolutely perfect.

It's so haunting, it captures the darker side of Game of Thrones. It would be depressing if not for the uplifting finale song though.

@Bandfred The books are thoroughly depressing. The ending of book 2 destroyed me. Book 3 was worse. Books four and five are so *gloomy*.
Great series, though. If you read the books, start from the first.

This is the music played in the scene where Ned Stark and Littlefinger talks after Robert's death regarding Joffrey's legitimacy. A very powerful scene and the music goes very well with it.
