ok i need this answered quick but i bought two kicker cvr12s today i wired them down to 2 ohms like the instruction manual told me and then i installed them into a ported box. I have a 2 channel amp that is 2 ohms stable but is there a certain way i need to wire from the terminals to the amp or do i just set each one for there own channel?

If the subs are already wired down then all you need to do is bridge the amp by wiring both channels to the same terminals.

I own a box like that and its awesome.top notch construction and sound quality.i like the box more than anything.i replaced the originals with momo's and it bangs harder.i plan to try SR's in this box eventually.

i hadsome of these they were fuckin ear peircing loud but werent clean at all even hooked up to a $600 class d amp, but overall they were the best bang for the buck

has no one ever told you not to play frequencies that are lower than what your box is tuned to? and i can't imagine that box is tuned very low. especially at a high volume like that. its your money, and i guess theres only one way to learn.

i think this box is tuned between 40 and 38 hz but i have one hooked up with MONSTER subwoofer cables and jacks and i hear ALL lows clear as day.excellent quality sub.box.

It that peak power or rms power?. If that is rms power than you are going to over power them by 130W and I would not recommend that. You should is the exact RMS wattage amp or slightly less. Then you will not blow them.

oh im not sure on the amp its just 850w @ 2ohm and 460w @ 4 ohm the maximum power output is 1250w  and the continuous rated power is 460w *1 what kind of amp do u got on your subs ?

haha they sound like they cant take below 20hz i played with them at the circuit city they barely took 20hz. id be afraid to play a frequency lower than 20hz that loud. do they quake that truck at 10-20hz? they just didnt seem that loud to me, even though it was in a bigger space but still. they cost too much really for the performace you get from them

don't buy them get a Boston subs if you want quality and MTX for hard bass

I recommend them. The only thing that is bad about them is that now I think I need a bigger amp. I want more bass now. Like a crackhead taking his first hit, I want first feeling the first time I got high with these things meaning I don't get a headache anymore from playing them hard and loud. lol.

Also I recommend getting a cap killer battery for the amp because I start to notice that my head and rear lights dim including the dash on certain songs. If I get a bigger Alpine MRP-M850 amp I am going to go with a KINETIK HC600 CAP KILLER CAR POWER CELL BATTERY.
