when I was younger, my little brother who is severely autistic and I would dance around the living room to this song, pretending we were counts. Now, every time I come home from college, I always dance this song with him, just like when we were little. The fact that youtube randomly recommended this song to me made me smile so much =)

I remember seeing this skit when I was very young but, I never knew that "The Count's" pet bats were able to talk. If three of his bat were talking here, I wonder why the bats don't talk in the other skits with "The Count" when he is in his castle.

No, The Count was not banned. The music in this skit is traditional Jewish celebration music. That's supposedly why it was banned. The character never was...although his large nose could be interpreted as a stereotype of Jewish people (but I highly doubt it).
