  • are pickles a superfood

  • 2 to 3 eggs a day!??? did i hear this right?? try 2 to 3 a week!!! 2,3 per day is dangerous!!

  • @JessicaBurgio that's a common misconception. eggs do have cholesterol however the yolk also has certain vitamins and minerals that your body needs.

  • @ajhrockerboy6 which is great, but too much of anything is not good.. even salad can be bad if you eat too much of it! i have always been told 3 eggs per week are the reccomended amount and for the other days you can get the minerals and vitamins from some other food product...

  • @JessicaBurgio i eat more than 2-3 eggs in a week however most of the time i often remove the yolk after i hard-boil them. i eat a lot of egg whites because egg whites has most of the protein.

  • quinoa needs to be added to the list!

  • blue berries, organic bee pollen, chia seeds, all different colored fruits and vegetables, advocadoes, use coconut oil as your cooking oil ,it's better than olive oil, omega 3 fish oil, squeeze a lemon in your water, parsley is the 3rd strongest anti oxodent in the world, according to the juice man jay k. , the guy that makes fresh juices on t.v.

  • I heard fish has tons of mercury, chicken is bad because the USDA let alot of infected chickens thru the food chain, broccoli (unless cooked well) messes up women's thyroid hormones, walnuts are acidic (for those looking to increase alkalinity), protein's are denatured in boiled eggs and so forth. So what's a person to do??

  • Alot of these are not really superfoods. Plus it's also very important to eat food that produces an alkaline reaction in the body.

  • honestly bro this list isn't even close to accurate, Superfoods are loaded with vitamins and minerals not just protein. I can tell you that beef, chicken, fish and eggs are not superfoods in fact they are bad foods. Yes they are rich in protein but 1. They are high in cholestorol 2. High in saturated fats 3. The macronutrients and minerals they contain are difficult for the human body to absorb. 50% of protein is lost when cooked anyway. Veges will always win!

  • What the heck? Superfood is a food that helps you burn fat? O.O Superfood is a product of nature considerably rich with nutrients such as vitamins, enzymes and minerals.

  • yOu guys have no idea on what a real superfood is..

  • Great vid! thanks for taking the time to make it. :)

  • These are NOT all superfoods. And to say superfoods will make you burn fat like crazy is oversimplifying big time. Don't want to be rude, just stating the facts. You should also include in your list: marine phytoplankton, raw cacao beans, raw honey, maca, and spirulina.

  • @Momentheum hehe cool i take those 2..plus astaxanthine ..gooodstuff

  • @Momentheum wouldn't count honey to superfood

  • what happens if you eat to much of a good thing...

  • what if we are not fat? don't think that is a good criteria just because a lot of americans are overwieght?

  • Super food is not one that burns fat...A super food helps your body by preemptively protecting your body from damaging things in your environment, from pollution, UV rays, to poor diet.

The food itself does not burn fat - they happen to be low calorie foods, which do not leave my energy behind to be deposited as fat. Eating the smaller meals more often per day, engages your metabolism non-stop, and hence keeps your digestive system working, and burning fat when food is not sufficient.

  • You forget probably the best one wholegrain rolled Oats!!!!

  • @akbar2k7

Rolled oats are no where near as nutritionally dense as steel-cut oats. As a body builder I do advocate the consumption of oats, but stay away from instant oats and even avoid rolled in preference for steel-cut.

  • @orgiophant93 i have a question: how do you get a six pack? what specific foods should i be eating and what drinks should i be drinking? Also what specific exercises should i be doing to melt my stubborn belly fat and to get more abdominal muscles.

  • @ajhrockerboy6 Drink fresh beet juice. Eat pumpkin and hemp seeds (90g of hemp hearts is optimal). Eat yer greens. Do cardio along side crunches and other ab exercises. ZERO refined sugars! Minimal fruits. Chew your food 20-50 times (or until it's almost liquid) before swallowing. I'm not kidding, chewing your food properly will help you drop fat fast. Oh and eat yer greens.

  • @orgiophant93 when you say greens you mean spinach, kale, broccoli, asparagus, parsley, etc.? also can i use soymilk on my oatmeal or amaranth? thanks man. Are burpees cardio exercsie?
