  • パイロットのレベルがとんでもない

  • Yeah..... man, it don't matter what level you are, you get nailed by that in the easiest difficulty, and you are toast. It hits like a jackhammer. one time, and you are getting pounded.

  • C-C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!!! XD

  • え~ wザと死んだwwww

  • Just wondering did fly into the path of the zams beam to show us how powerful it was or were really playing the game?

  • Just jumped infront of it to show its power.

  • I hate big zams there annoying

  • i'm not that far in the game, work keeps me buys, but god am I loving this! Best Gundam ever

  • Long time no see, what's your PSN ID? We shud play some time.

  • omg emo suicide detected =P

if you wanna die at least leave your gundam at home

  • Hahaha, sup bro, it was just to show pplz the power of that thing. I did kick its ass a few times before. :P

  • How is this game? How is the multiplayer?

  • The game's itself is pretty fun. Some annoyances OT had are gone (shield-in-your-face, not being able to crouch, very low hp, low ammo, etc). If you really want the trophies you'll be spending lots of time playing Free Missions to get items and such. The multiplayer is pretty good from what I've seen. I haven't played it myself yet, but I've noticed in other videos that there's less lag than in OT but there's still some hiccups where characters teleport a little. Rarely though.

  • Hey Shirokai, it's been a long time since you posted. When you say OT, are you talking about Operation Troy?

I agree with most of what your saying in comparison, although I think it is a bit unfair to do so since the gameplay of both is really different from each other.

-I agree that the netcode is much better than OT, beside some hiccups as you said. At least, you will never have to worry about being lag shotted/slashed.

-OT really should have had a crouch ability for mobile suits.

  • -OT's shield system made no sense, the primary use of the shield was to block shots directly at the torso or cockpit of the suit, not f***** blind the pilot.

-I think the hp and ammo limits were fine for OT, 0081's combat tends to be so much slower since the mobile suits can take SO much damage, except in late game and against the Big Zam (lol at video).

  • Well, the ammo depends on where you are playing and with who, whenever I go on a Conquest match, I have to go back to the base to refill on some beam juice for my gun. And the low hp is pretty ridiculous, two bazooka shots in the back shouldn't kill a suit. Now, I don't expect them to survive 10 hits either, but a little boost would have been reasonable. There's a 10 sec spawn time and on top of that, everyone dies fast, and that really affects the battle's speed.

  • -OT's missions were a piece of s***, three years should have been enough time to triple the number of missions, and that's ignoring the fact that they only let you play with a grand total of three different suits in campaign mode.

  • -OT's multi-player was decent, but they had to mess up the balance between soldiers and mobile suits. In conquest mode, it only takes one decent to below average player to ruin the match simply because he knows how to crouch and shoot whoever tries to take a point, kill him and you have a total of about one free second to take it before he simply respawns there and continues his camping spree.

*Ack you ruined my posting spree, to be continued*

  • I doubt they were even working on the game. The same team probably made the other Gundam games for PSP and such. Need to investigate this.

And yea, that one damn soldier camping in the point, that one guy only you notice, that one guy that kills you, that one guy that only you can kill... that guy... is annoying lol.

Bwahahaha, your posting speed is no match for my FireFox... which is red... ok, I'll shut up now.

  • Whether you like or don't like the damage you take in Gundam games is dependent upon the type of Gundam gamer you are. I'm gonna say your more of an arcade like Gundam fan favoring quick paced combat. I'm more of a strategist Gundam fan favoring quick and decisive battles.

In retrospect, I agree with you about 0081 being an overall better game, it's just that when you posted those comparisons, you incited my fan rage over the negative aspects of OT.

  • On the contrary, I don't like games like Gundam vs Gundam, etc. The damage dealt to the suits is not faithful to the series. If there's a 1 shot kill, I want it to be a beam rifle. But a bazooka shouldn't have such power, unless it's a hyper bazooka ofc. OT is a fun game, but it does need some fixing, and this game fixed some things... but not all. And I hate those reinforcements...

  • On the subject of damage: To be fair, the damage on OT is more realistic than in 0081, while the ability to boost is greatly exaggerated in both OT and 0081. If we were following pure Gundam logic most shots would be near if not one hit KO's.

One of my biggest problems with OT is that, they put way too much emphasis on uncommon equipment (grenades, and beam weapons) and not enough with machine guns and rifles which early in the one year war were the primarily used weapons.

  • For OT, the machine guns and rifles should have been the primary equipment with grenades and beam weapons hard to unlock and high tier. They could have balanced this by making it so that the speed of refilling ammo was based on the type of weapon being used which is what 0081 does right.

    Alright, enough of my rant.

I just hope the next Gundam game that comes to the xbox 360 doesn't fail as badly as OT and if NB decides to region lock it another Gundam game again, so help me...

  • But don't you already have a JP Xbox 360?

I doubt NB tries hard with so many others selling good. I for one, get most of my Gundam fix from Super Robot Taisen games.

  • Yes, but wouldn't you like to play with more English (or any person of a different nationality that was locked out of playing OT due to the region lock) players?

As much as I like playing OT, it's still hard to find matches and having more players to play with would have been better. OT being not as popular with the Japanese players despite being a Gundam game certainly didn't help matters.

  • Language doesn't matter to me unless it's something that is not English, Japanese, or Espanish.

But lack of players due to region restrictions is indeed awful.

  • I do agree that sometimes the combat is too slow, on top of MS being able to take so much damage, there's tons of reinforcements. It's pretty tedious when playing scenario on hard or free missions alone. But then again, that is why they have co-op(for free missions).... too bad I don't have any PSN friends haha.

PS-OT's shield does indeed suck haha.
