Thank you for posting this pianist from your cruise. He is awesome. Wish I knew his name. His is a style that is very listenable. Better than most. Very expressive.
I thought that was weird too and I wrote Fabrizio Caligaris (time0207) and told him shame on his audience. I would have been giving him a standing ovation. He said it usually takes a couple days on the cruise ship for the audience to warm up and loosen up.
I agree. I've been practising arpeggios up then down, up then down, and hour a day with a metronome. I'm getting faster, but man, this guy can do it with every chord and without looking.
It's not so much an "interpretation". Rather, it's an execution style. A very matured and perfect execution. He knows what he's playing unlike myself.
nice playing fabrizio happy new year to you, have you added any sheet music lately.

I think it's weird that like three people clapped. Small audience? That deserved a huge round of applause... great job!

Wonderful piece and extremely skilled pianist. I loved it and am searching for the sheet music RIGHT NOW!

How do his fingers move down the piano so fast? My fingers get all mixed up on fur elise...this looks alot harder!

You're right & thanks for commenting. At first glance your I.D. looks like it says I'm an idiot!

I know. This man has his own interpretation of a lot of his stuff. Nevertheless it's awesome.

How long you've been playing? How to know when you're and expert at piano?
20000914 3 years ago
You're not an expert until someone tells you you are. It does take a big chunk of time...
