Do you have the game where Plett took a cheap shot at Cheevers than, later in the game, Plett had a break away and Cheevers took his stick, Like an axe, and chopped the legs right from under Plett? It was something to see as Chessie didn't card if Plett scored...he just wanted to get him back. I'd give a 70's Orr card (or any other card of your favorite player) if you posted both parts of this classic game!

I actually watched tons of Bruin games on Long Island in the eighties on WSBK in Boston. No one called it like Fred and Derek. But the Rangers did have Jim Gordon and Bill Chadwick. They kicked butt too in the booth. Check 'em out.

@jconwayredsoxfan Cheevers ventured out further than goalies typically did then...so the Flames "took car of business"...and you only would like to think the Bruins did...the Bruins were probably the biggest WWF type fighthers of that era always acting like they were fighting...ala Wensink...always tried to show his exagerated punches to the crowd or punched when he was on top, etc....not much substance though...us NY boys always took care of you...
