Well, there's two ways to look at it.

From it's viewpoint, it's the center of all existence in Nosgoth, who needs Raziel to gather souls for its "Wheel of Fate".

From Raziel's viewpoint, it's nothing but a parasite who is directly responsible for everything that Nosgoth has gone through since the vampires first fought the Hylden.

I go along with Raziel's viewpoint, myself.

Tony Jay was fucking awesome. All the dialogue in the Legacy of Kain series has always been the greatest thing about them. It's better than any other game's dialogue I've seen.

The language is what draws me personally. Without it, the game doesn't seem quite as good. It allows for witty dialouge, which attracts me o often watch these videos. I think the same way they talk, but talk normal.

That is not archiac english-- that's sophisticated english. Archiac english has a lot of "ye's" and "thou's" and a lot of words that are pronounced a whole lot differently. This is simply the highest and purest form of educated english-- and I loved it for that! It helped me take more of an interest in vocabulary and sparked my speaking abilities drastically!

The speech in this game is by far the best I have experienced from any other games that take place in around the middle ages.

But not only that...LoK contained interesting building designs, much of them having varying structures of real past civilizations.

The only thing I didn't like in Soul Reaver was language. The English used in his game is archaic, and I wasn't always able to understand what persons says... but it build an atmosphere of other world indeed :)

Kain was never jealous of Raziels wings, he had seen the future, he knew raziel would become a winged wraith and that in that form he would aid Kain in restoring Nosgoth. When he saw Raziel had grown wings he knew it was time to kill him. Kain loved raziel like a son & brother, but he wanted nosgoth restored.

Yeah, and perhaps that's the main thing that makes Kain such a tragic hero in the end. He forsook so much for that "Minute flicker of probability", like he himself describes it... In the Epilogue of Defiance, holding the True Reaver.... he must have been the loneliest being in Nosgoth, which is only rightful, being Nosgoth a lonely place as well. D.R.

Just imagine what sorrow and blackness should have crossed his heart when Raziel entered the blade... the brother and son he made and loved so much, the one he cast into the Abyss and almost destroyed... is the one who made the greatest sacrifice for him. Nosgoth is such a beautiful, lonely and sad world... With every installment of the Legacy of Kain, one rediscovers this eccentric and desolate majesty created and animated by so many brilliant minds...

@Hasfast it would be cool if whe saw like normal ppl in soul ever 2 like the ones whe see in blood omen 2 and could kill them xD and grab them to :.( but well... blood omen 2 sucks a bit at killing monsters to

soul reaver 3/defience sucks... cool graphics but.. not realy much combos...and the enemis are almost allways the same i played like 30% of the game so i dont know xD and it would bee cool if whe could kill normal ppl in blood omen 2 and gain better habilities...
