Brilliant. This is the first piece of classical music I heard on the wireless, I was six years old, we were going to town to collect our meat ration. The year was 1944/45, I begged my mum to allow me to listen to it all, she did, we missed the bus and had to wait two hours for another one, but it was worth it. Thank you.

I'm blessed to have seen him twice in Seattle. Last year, I was the first one to run down to the stage for the encore, where I remained alone and embarrassed, until, from out of nowhere, a gentleman wearing a tux asked me to dance. We waltzed all over as others finally joined in. I hope that Andre and the Johan Strauss Orchestra come back to Seattle soon. There's nothing like seeing it live. To other Seattle fans, you are welcome to come down front during the encore. See ya there.
