  • Would be a PERFECT car black box and security cam if not for the nighttime gain.

  • Do you have any other suggestions for underwater camera's, I will use it for diving. Love your reviews.

  • Again another excellent review. I use a camera by gaffa taping it to my climbing helmet and use time delay to get some quite amazing photographs, so unfortunately this one wont suit.

I borrowed a Go Pro which produced excellent photos but is tricky to attach due to its shape and excessively expensive in the UK compared to the US.

Something to put on your radar is the Ego by Liquid Image coming out this summer $149 for full HD.

  • @richardseye Yes I saw the Ego on Macbreak weekly and thought that it looked like it offered a lot of features for the money. I'll definitely get one in to test...as long as they send the to the UK.

  • Another great review. Cheers for posting.

  • @fredintheshed1 Fred - Love your channel, it really takes me back.

  • @Techmoan

    Thanks Tech :-).

My reviews are not a patch on yours of course but I find yours very inspiring and give me plenty of ideas to improve.

  • Thank you for making such comprehensive reviews. I was looking at the Chinese websites for video cameras for my push bike. I looked at cameras like the Extreme Cam, RD32, AEE MD80, DVR D011 and the Y3000 but I had no idea they were so bad. I bought an 808 #16 based on your review. You saved me lots of time and money.

  • thank you

  • RD32 II or Go Pro HD hero?

  • @iomjames I haven't tested a Go Pro - you will have to make that decision youself, cost would be a big factor.

  • @Techmoan I know you said you didnt know the price but do you have any idea of cost or where i can look to buy this camera, i know cost is a big thing and also the odd file type, seemed to work ok with my "coral video studio x4" i just need to find out the price.

  • @iomjames Details of some retailers of this camera are at the bottom of the associated blog post on my website TECHMOAN.COM

  • @Techmoan found it, thanks you very much.

  • Another good review. You must spend a fortune on cameras and gadgets!!

  • I wish more cameras offered loop/overwrite recording. That's basically all you need for a dash-cam.

  • And how about the tachyon?

  • Thanks, going to part 2.

  • Oh right, you actually brought that up, didn't think you would since FPV is a fairly new thing. Excellent!

  • If this can be hacked for FPV use I would consider it since GoPros are somewhat expensive. Basically, the camera need a tv-out feature that has a live view of what the camera sees.

  • @FuttFel When you watch the review, you will see that it has this feature.

  • Sweet review man
