  • Thanks a Lot Craig!

  • Whats the alcohol level o home brews?

and is it possible and legal to raise or lower that level?

does ur home brew get you drunk?

i cant wait to start home brewing u definatley inspired me

    thank you

  • craig, i'd like to make a drum request.if you play rush do tom sawyer. that would be bad assed!

  • Tom Sawyer is brutal. I've been working on it, but my policy with drum covers is that if I can't nail it in the pocket, I won't do it at all. I'll keep practicing, and yes, It would be a great cover with this kit.

  • Hi Craig again. I bought a beer kit, but seems more complicated that your how video brewing. The kid says Munich Helles. In the instructions says that I have to put in somewhre the temperature is approx 48 and 58 F. Can I use this product with 75 F?

  • It sounds like you have a Lager there. Do you have access to yeast? If so, buy a packet of yeast that is meant for fermenting at 75 F. Use that instead.

  • So, just change the yeast, Great, those steps are not quiet simple that your video, but I am really excited to make my first 5 gallons. Thank you.

  • also, in the package says that the fermentation is in 10-14 days. And then I have to put in another carboy for 3-4 weeks. With the new yeast how many days should be.

  • Hi Craig, I just saw a video where you make wine. I am trying to make mead. How many days can be in the primary fermentation and how many rackings I have to do. Thank you.

  • For this you might be better asking merddyn2002. He is more into the mead thing.

  • I sent a message, hopefully he answer, I think he last post was last year. BTW, I like your videos very good explained. It is my first time doing mead or brewing something. Thanks.

  • Can I ask, are you albino? If so, do you wear coloured contact lenses and how much is your sight affected?

  • I have a condition known as Albinism. I don't wear any coloured contact lenses. My vision is about 10/200, which it poor.

  • ive got a kick ass stein just like that

  • Video clarity is much better. New cam?

  • Well you're bang on noticing that! The camera isn't new, but I was using and older Sony cam before and decided to start using my newer Panasonic 3CCD cam. Much better color rendering. I guess I'll keep using it from now on.

  • i tried to play the vid on the screen in the vid..... fml.

  • Craig. I posted my first vid of a homebrew result.

If you get a chance have a look and see the Frankenstein monster you helped create!

    Sbb.

  • Hiya Craigman

I think you meant me with the beer glasses at the end there...Heres to many more 10+min. vids.

Long Live The Legend! eh he.

    Sbbinahee

  • Absolutely! I can never pronounce Sbbinahee, let alone remember it LOL. But yes, I meant you, and I use one of your glasses every night. I protect them with my life and don't take them outside. I'll be sure to use one of them in my next brewing vid. Cheers!!

  • Glad you're still usin the glass Craig

    Stuart

  • It is possible to 'test' a video without making it available to the general youtube public.

I think you have been drinking too much beer and forgot :p

  • Well, it was not just a test, I intended for everyone to see it, and explained that it would long. There was information in the video I wanted you guys to know about.

  • Oh, and it was the first beer of the night. :P

  • that beer is massive!!! LOL

  • Ooh, you're a pipe smoker, too. Neat.

  • Just started recently. I'm really enjoying it and YouTube has helped in a huge way. Do you smoke a pipe?

  • Not as often now, but about ten years ago I smoked the pipe almost exclusively for about two yeas.

I still smoke it occasionally, when I have enough free time to fill it up properly and enjoy it uninterrupted.

For a long time, my favorite tobacco was Amphora Malt Whiskey (which I don't think they make any longer).

  • Craig,

Definately nice to see that you are able to get longer videos, and like you mentioned....it is probably the most important thing. I started becoming interested in home brewing because of you, even though I am using a Mr Beer kit now, as it was given to me as a gift. I hope to soon upgrade to 5 gallon batches. Thanks for your hard work and your videos, and I look forward to seeing longer videos from you soon.

  • Craig, you look slightly intoxicated in this video :-D

oh, smoking tobacco from a pipe is a lot of fun. I enjoy it quite a lot.

  • No, I wasn't. Maybe it's the huge florescent light I installed for shooting video. It's pretty bright. :)

  • More drum covers!

  • Definitely, once the kiddies get back to school.

  • awesome man, i meant to ask you about that on skype the other day. I'm converting my channels now. Wow. can't believe i hit 750 subscribers. I need to do a few more videos when I get a chance.

  • Hey merd, no more 10 minute limit. YAY!

  • Kool more brewing vids : )

I recently found a shop that sells brewing kits such as coopers, but unfortionatley they have odd opening times.

    Definatley looking forward to them...

  • this vid was uploaded at 4am here

  • Nice, way to go.

  • I like the new channel design 5/5

  • Finally you got longer vids :)

  • Craig I like your changes.
