This was the largest pot of the day and can be a symbol of what happens when you are running really bad. Anyway i got my free bankroll from Pokerfrik website so i don't really care about loosing :D

I discovered on the Full Tilt blog last thursday you make an new account on their site with the code AMERICAS if ya don't presently have 1 with them. Its a great bonus special offer. They will DOUBLE your 1st deposit also a few other important perks. It's limited to the first 2500 players that register using this
its funny how quicklty people forget the ivey vs jackson hand which was also on a paired flop. Ivey is capable of bluffing in this spot a lot so please sotp saying how you would have laid down and it was a bad call and i cant be assed to argue as i know im right thank you
Anyone who comments about what they would have done better, or how could have Antonious made that call, should just go back to playing your regular game of 1/2 no limit. No one here has played as big as they do, or was in the hand, or plays with them as much as Ivey and Antonious play each other.
@dirtylos30 whats funny is 3 quaters of these people have probably seen the ivey vs jackson hand where he bluffs on a paired flop re re re re re raise or whatever with air. So this hand could be exactly the same hence antonios call with ace 10. So i agree, it is funny when they make out they would have done so much better 5 times out of 10 ivey is probably bluffing in this spot!
Hear about reference codes? Me never until lately I made big buck from it with no sweat atall. Just entered the code FILM in Fulltiltpoker and got $600 cash! Poker was hard for me but now I play good cause was easy to learn.
@bonscott85 thats howard lederer, and he says some shit about when he moved to vegas in 1993 and something about a big game.. not much being said really just telling a story..
A huge factor in this hand is that Phil Ivey is one of the best in the world and is capable of running a huge bluff here for half a million, but also the fact that he is stuck huge in the game. Ivey was stuck like 300k + before the start of this hand, which might give Antonius the feeling that Ivey is steaming. Antonius likely put Ivey on a missed club draw.. KQcc or something like that.
If I were Antonius after Ivey made the 250K bet, I would have thought, "Would he have takien so long with the nut straight? No... he must have a better Ace or a Fullhouse to ponder if he can be beaten somehow." I would have thrown the A-10 into the muck, realizing there would be more future opportunities to play a better hand than A-10 considering so many outs for Ivey on the board.
@1Two9Face8Tony5 That's only because of experience and long term variance. Pros are too good to make a reckless call or bluff in certain situations, where as amateurs would be reckless enough to play it a different way.
Seeing the other guy's hole cards has nothing to do with acknowledging pondered time or calculating pot odds. A-10 is not that great of a hand, at least not to a great player...
Did anyone of you see the 300,000$ ahnd_. Phil did bet the pot on the flop, just like in this hand. And he had a full haouse both time. Patric could have picked up on that.
he mightve played kq or q10 of clubs the same way. otherwise u would think aq. if i was against ivey i would discount pocket jacks or ace-jack right away the way he plays it on the flop and turn. great play by ivey
in my opinion, to call is a bad reaction in this case. If he thinks that Ivey is bluffing he could represent AQ re-raising All in... but I don't know... maybe he knows Ivey and he thot that it would be called...
ivey isn't the man he had a full house on the dam flop haha. either way it was even if antonius had the full house same result pretty hard to fold 3 aces with a flush drawo n the flop that misses on the river.
The commentator was horrible. He tries so hard to find things to talk about, that he makes simple mistakes. After Ivey bets the river, he says $225,000, then he corrects to $250,000 then for no reason, he says it is 12 black chips, when it is actually just 10 black chips. What was the point? Can't come up with intelligent things to say?
So Antonius is losing to AK, AQ, AJ, A5, JJ and he has been re-re-raised on the flop, still he makes the call on the river facing a huge bet. What was he thinking?
yup, that is the only reason Patrik called. It's pretty insane because Phil can ONLY rep JJ with that sidebet. Such a narrow range for Ivey, but at the same time it's possible he's bluffing. I think considering the side bet, he has to call.
And Ivey, knowing he reps only one hand, bets enormous on all three streets. Masterfully played.
He called because he knows Ivey is one of the few players capable of bluffing a pot that huge in cold hard cash, and probably figured sicne it's on T.V, Ivey was trying to show him up by bluffing him on a broken club draw.
u serious? Hes holding the T of clubs himself....

I just wonder if Patrik bets or checks the river if Ivey checks to him. Seemed like Ivey was wondering if Patrik filled up on the end.
