@piersremus To be fair, the muppets have always kinda been commercial, even under Jim Henson. It's how he funded his art. But I know what you mean, I felt the same way with the car commercial.

@piersremus Well, of course it is all stuff about the film. They just spent a lot of money making the film, and so they need lots of people to go see it in order to get that money back (and also MORE MONEY). It's all part of reviving the Muppets.

If their movie doesn't do well, then they will not be able to keep funding OTHER Muppet projects.

And so what would be the point of making free shorts, if no one goes to see the movie. The Muppets need to make money too. This is their JOB after all.

@DallasDiatorei Yes I can agree to that, call me old fashioned or something but I dont like this type of approach, and yes before anybody goes off about me knowing or not...I own a business and I use other methods. This was just a personal opinion and I feel like its wrong, in the manner that The Muppets have Class, they shouldnt need to be doing this,thats what annoyed me a little. There in no way they wont make it, and if they do...well there is always an end to good things in life.Move on...
