this is HORRIBLE to listen to. travis barker has long been a hero to me - his drumming on the song "Mutt" literally made my best friend start playing drums, after i told him i was going to learn guitar. that was more eleven years ago, and both of our lives are completely changed because of that fateful listen-through. that he can still play the drums like hell and doesn't even have any major burn marks (that i've ever seen, obviously) is a miracle. love you, trav.

First off, the pilots were in the front, usually the first part of the plane that impacts something. Its a luck of the draw after that..Safest part of any plane is in the tail, away from the wing tanks. This aircraft was relatively new, a Lear 60. The 60 has a very poor braking system for such a heavy aircraft. All jet pilot calculate V1 speed. Decision speed. Anything happens after V1 during acceleration, you are trained to go. The aircraft must have balanced field length, room to stop..

Wow, this is horrible. Anyone that boards a plane knows that this scenario cross through our heads, this is so sad and so real at the same time, accidents happend sometimes. Who wouldnt cry? Who wouldnt yell in shock? Its real pain and horror, the deads, the fire, the plane fuel burning everything in flames, lets hope that this never happends to us or a beloved one. My prays are with the deaths and the ones in recovery.

That is crazy. It's so heart breaking to hear his voice, i mean he just went through the worst thing possible and survived it. My prayers go out to Barker and Goldstein and i hope they get better and my heart goes out to the families that lost someone.
