I compared to Signature. Signature was much better than him. Clearly most people prefer 'cute' or a 'sob-story' over real entertainment. George returned after his first failure, so people felt he 'deserved' to win so they voted. It's like Kieran Gaffney from BGT 2010. He was no way good enough to come 3rd. Aidan from 2009 is more entertaining than GS.

I have friends who did drumming, and trust me, they were MUCH better. Comparing Kieran to the likes of Tobias Mead, Tobias was so much better, talented and entertaining. Kieran is good, but not entertaining. Maybe if he made his act it more interesting it would've been entertaining. The sob-story contributed to his success, just like George.

Don't tell me Tina and Chandi were good too? It was 'cute' and that was all. Dogs everywhere can do those things she did.

@NajahDaLegend I'm not saying Tobias Mead wasn't amazing, because believe me, he was great. I'm just saying that, compared to Tobias, maybe Kieran was the better entertainer in the eyes of others. Everyone has an opinion. Plus, Kieran was hardly another "sob-story", there were plenty of other auditions with returning contestants that were booed off stage (i.e. the guy that attempted to eat the most "After Eight" bars).

Obviously for some Kieran did seem better. Other returning contestants like the After Eight eater were just stupid, unentertaining and didn't talent which is why there was no support. Kieran, however, had some talent, but compared to other acts he wasn't that good or unique. It's also the reason why singers didn't do well this year, and last year IMO Susan Boyle was too hyped up. BGT show seemed to help Kieran's cause by emphasising he returned and emphasising the story behind Kieran.

That being said. Let's go over some review.

George Sampson at the time was 14 years old. Suleman Mirza... His age isn't even recorded. He's a lawyer, which gauges him around 30(est.).

Sampson can Breakdance. Shows more moves. But his stuff is fairly weak.

Mirza, has Technique and Practice which shows VERY well. But nothing risky

The word is TALENT people. Not Skill.

You give anyone ten years, and they'll be good at something.

Mirza has had that time, easily.

At the time Sampson had barely even LIVED long enough to have ten years to practice ANYTHING

We see talent from inside people.

You look at Mirza's face. It's riddled with age and insecurity. None of which takes away from that he's an AMAZING dancer.

When George Sampson performs, you know he wants it. In this performance you see that he wants this more than anything. And it's not just winning.

It's Dance.

He lives and breathes dance.

That this kid, who had the balls to go out at thirteen to try and fail. And dance on the streets and practice things when other kids are what... Playing Pokemon? Talent comes from the heart.

Regurgitating moves, that comes from Muscle Memory. Which Mirza clearly has.

Though, the fact he was Middle Eastern probably scared people. And Sampson's little boy appearance won him the pity vote and made him more marketable.

But don't knock his talent.
