The bait is a discontinued model they stopped making over 5 years ago. I've only got a couple left. I'm hoping I can work with a company that'll make some more for me.If they do I'll put them on the market. Keep your fingers crossed.
It would have been interesting to see the building of an above ground reservoir. I assume the technique would be to bull doze a big retaining wall from the inside, up, and then the creek would fill it with water. Are they common?
No creek. Dig a deep lake and pile the dirt up around the edges of the lake. In the lake place a pump structure and a pipe leading to a nearby creek. The dirt mounded up around the edges is fortified and covered with rocks to stop erosion. Water is pumped in from the nearby stream. Water levels are held relatively constant. Even during times of flooding water levels stay the same and never become muddy. The water levels are higher than the surrounding land because of the walls.
@Fishnwithjoe Wow, that must be quite a project since the reservoirs are really big. Do the reservoirs serve as community water supplies i.e. have pipelines to area water towers and that sort of thing? Oh, those bass that haven't ever experienced muddy water must be spoiled rotten.... :) Don
