I use different adapters (a small PCB with connectors) for different panels, in total now I use 3 kind of adapters - one for monitor's panels (17~22", 2 LVDS Ch.), one for HD-Ready (1366x768 pix) TV panels and one for FullHD TV panels since pinout and type of LVDS connector are different.

So, output LVDS port on my device is just a 50 pin connector (looks like SCSI2)

Excellent application, what is the pinout order of the LVDS port? what is the proper way to test a LCD panel when you don;t have the pinout order?.
