As a photographer - and a men of peace - I think the russian cameras and lenses are the Best of soviet technology. Especially some very very sharp russian lenses. When one try a MIR 37mm f2.8, so theres no doubt about quality. I hope the russians develop lenses for modern reflex cameras instead of weapons.
