I thought i gave my heart to God, but i only committed half-heartedly, because when the going got hard i lost hope. I only came to God when good is happening. When i pray i feel like i'm talking to myself, but God finds me when i cant feel his presence. He's really been speaking through me in poetry. Sometimes you find God in ways you least expect.

@GamerZombie I don't think you have it fully correct sir, The question that matters is do you realize Yeshua (Jesus) gave his life for you, making your very own life forfeit, But still none of us are righteous enough to even understand the grace of that moment, in time, all generations should be aware of, we are not saved and we do not save by anything we do, It all comes from the Rauch ha Quodesh, Yahweh and Yeshua

@Shankmcslice Salvation was made possible by the Father. Our urge to repent comes from the Holy Spirit. But salvation itself? That comes only through Jesus the Christ.

So true, I've seen this all throughout my life. I find Him when I fall apart. I think through what I have experienced in my 1st year of college I have gotten to know Him more and I know what he wants me to do with my life, and he showed me this year, even through all the pain and tears.

I'm going through a really rough time right now and i heard this song on the radio and I can't even tell you what it did for me. Tears filled my eyes and I was reminded that God, no matter how bad the situation, He will never give me more than I can handle. He loves me and He is always there for me, even when i don"t feel him. I just need to trust him completely and give everything to Him and He will lead me back into the light. Thank you, God. <3

This song is SO awesome!!! I am going through somethings, but this song is how I feel word for word. We do find ourselves closer to God when we are going through struggles. If he gave nothing but blessings then we would not turn to Him as often. It would be to easy and we miss the true meaning of loving, trusting, and relying fully on God:)
