you can also take into consideration that you can download TFU for pc as an expansion of jedi academy.Of course you must have have to download the first expansion [knights of the force] that gives you the abillity to play with any character you want from ep. 1-6.Why don't you give it a try

Not all are, it is just that most developers want to develop a hardcire game with great graphics. And most publishers don't want ot pay for the developer to use the really powerfull AMD/IMB grpahics processer the wii uses.

This game probably supercedes it in terms of canon, but I remember reading in the New Essential Chronology that because Vader's arms were prosthetic, he was unable to channel Force Lightning, I guess because the midi-chlorians in his hand need to reach out to the Force. Although that wouldn't explain why he can use Force Choke. Maybe it is just that he prefers Choke over Lightning (who knows, maybe uncontrolled use of Lightning fries his machine limbs).

Yeah, and that's probably one of the reasons Vader died in Return of the Jedi, because Darth Sidious was using lighting to kill Luke and Vader grabbed Sidious so he got electrocuted and, like you said, it shut down his life support.

What I hope they do is keep Vader's power level under 9000. I mean, it IS a training level after all, so it should start you off with a simpler array of Force techniques, and him being able to use Force Lightning is not canon anyway.

That said, though, I think getting to play Vader (in a normal level, without using cheats) is every Star Wars fan's dream come true. :-)

this game is canon so if Vader can use lightning...it is canon, and also just because Vader didn't use force lightning doesn't mean he couldn't. He was a Sith lord and very advanced at using the force so my guess is that he could but just preferred choke or something
