first off algalon isnt easy, everyone needs to know what their doing and need to make sure they dont die from stupid crap and know when to get to a blackhole and w.e

blizzard said algalon feeds on your tears for a reason, and that he is the raid destroyer cause he is one of the hardest encounters for when ulduar came out

I'll take that bet. the raid is fully aware of their dps and the enrage timer. With only one hour to attempt him per week, if in the first minutes of the encounter the dps is not on par, they will call a wipe. If the raid leader allowed the encounter to go past the first big bang, it means he/she felt that the dps was on par or the best they had seen from the raid so far. Cutting into his berserk would have been predicted by the raid leaders at around the first minute of the fight.

The other reason why I do not think there was nerd rage is that this kill was the first 25man kill by the guild. 4th worldwide. To have a top5 ranked kill in the world would put a smile on even the most hardcore of raid leaders. The guild will have time to smoothen the encounter and master it, in the meantime they have a world 4th. Something they can be very proud of, hell of an accomplishment

Someone has to always stay outside and eat a big bang or Algalon will wipe the raid. The tank who will be eating the big bang needs to use all CD's to survive. You can also have a priest stay out and use Dispersion to eat the bang. But you always have to have atleast 1 person out with CD's.

You use recount, go over to deaths and click on a player to open their death log. In the wndow you opened for the player hit report and set the bar to 25, that SHOULD post the damage and healing that _______ took before he died.
