And to all who ask why is a talkbox require more skill than autotuners...one has to play the keyboard to make the pitches or notes while mouthing the words with a tube blowing wind in your mouth. its a lot harder to do this if you've tried it. Roger used a Golden Throat talkbox powered with a 50 or 100 watt Marshall and Alesis keyboard. So much wind in is mouth rattled his teeth. What i found interesting...on most of his tracks he played the rythm guitar, keys, electronic bass...T Pain doesnt

Talk box and Autotune are completely different. A talk box is basically the guts of a speaker. The musician can play a note on an instrument and filter that note via the tube using different mouth shapes. There is no pitch shifting involved -- the note the musician plays is the note that you hear.

Autotune is 100% digital pitch shifting, which can take a note and change it into another -- there's no filtering. Autotune was invented in 95 or so. Talk boxes have been around for 70 years.
