Everybody talks about how they prefer bc2 to bf3 and I truly agree. I have both but play bc2 alot, the sad thing is that not many people play this. There are 3 million registered players on any console but 2-3k playing at a given time on 3k servers. We need to keep this game alive so lets get back to having fun and watch things blow up. Also, I honestly think Bad Company 2 looks way better than BF3, the tech is less good but the environments and design are far nicer than BF3. It's like the difference between Crysis 1 and 2 - the first looks much better because of its setting despite being less impressive technologically. Played some last night... Tore it up with the XM8 LMG. Got a triple spray defending last stage of valparaiso, and 7 kills in about a minute. Failed to hit any choppers with an AT4 :(

Still love BF3 though. I wishwishwish they still had the AT4 or an equivalent in BF3...

I'm not saying some of the shots Sgt.Enigma does in his 'Aggressive recon' montages aren't skillful, but I just find the one-hit kill bolties to be extremely cheap. Point towards enemy, click, kill. Want one hit kills? Score head shots. One hit kill body shots makes other weapons near pointless.

@Kirq No, he switched to pistol and back to sniper to cancel out the Visual Animation. The bolt action still goes on i.e. he still cant shoot till its finish.

This is so his view wont be blocked by the animation.

This is exactly why BF3 doesn't appeal to me.

You can't go run & gun sniping the same way; you'll have retarded lens flares and out of control nudges (when taking damage), and screen blurs etc. fucking up your aim, and being killed in a fraction of a second with assault rifles and SMGs ruins it.

I ended up putting hundreds of hours in BC2, but I'm @ 10hour ish on BF3, and don't even want to start up the game.

In my opinion (just my opinion, eh) BC2 is superior to BF3 AND BF2 in terms of having fun playing it. The other BF titles take themself to serious. Especially those elitist BF2 veterans (which sounds obnoxious for itself) really piss me off because they complain about new games cause they just suck at it.

@GeneralOffensive I definitely don't suck at modern Battlefield games, but I don't believe that getting some uber KD scores is the essence of online gaming, it's just low. Only those who haven't experience some real values think it is. Also, I can only have fun when the maps have sandbox design that isn't linear and offers endless amounts of playstyles. The new shoebox sized BF maps aren't any of that. They're repetitive and get boring in the matter of hours each.
