  • Keep pressing '9'.

  • Why does he throw Tom out during dinner? It seems inconsistent.

  • "Thank you for the dinner and a very pleasant evening"

    badass

  • Minute 0:09 - 0:16 -- small but noticeable mistake. The wine glass is filled twice.

  • @ 0:55, when the director is talking about how she was the best piece of ass, it is funny to see Tom get grossed out

  • Simply the beste scene of all times

  • ORANGES ( fruit or color )= death

  • Dayamn! Thought I had a bad day. It can always be worse. Layed it on Thick!

One more reason to practice humbleness! but... still messin up! Dayamn!

  • HAPPY 81ST BIRTHDAY, ROBERT DUVALL, AND THAT'S THE BOTTOM LINE!!!

  • the best scene

  • That dinner must be tasty because Duval is really scooping it up.

  • what if a girl on her very first period where to wake up like that LMFAO!!!

  • Just imagine what would have happened if Sonny had been sent to meet with Jack Woltz, how he would have just kicked Woltz's ass and been his usual violent self, that might have made quite an impression on Woltz and he might have given in to Sonny after getting his ass kicked halfway through their conversation.

  • "She was the greatest piece of ass I've ever had!"

  • como se llama la cancion cuando va llegando el avion de tom??

  • "with his olive oil voice and ginny charm" LOL. That line is amazing.

  • @spaniardmale77 It's actually Guinea as in Guinea Pig. Also, if you look at The Deleted Scenes, I don't think that Tom Hagen would have helped Johnny Fontane but after discovering Jack's Secret, he decided that Woltz had to pay.

  • Poor Woltz, did i not just see oranges on the table?? True godfather conneseurs knows what that means!

  • @fadethetrade What's it mean? I'm eager to know!

  • @dolflow in other scenes, whenever you see oranges, someone in that scene will die...

  • @xxElitaOnexx Interesting! Any hidden meaning behind that though?

  • @fadethetrade i wonder how many people are wondering what you mean. Orange, The color of death!

  • @TheReticKeeper Marlon Brando always ate oranges or some fruit in his films, and that same year Last Tango in Paris was all about his oranges obsession. Ask me not, musta been a Tahitian Gaugain innuendo, he also did that color and fruit paintings

  • What did he mean when he said "I aint no band leader"?

  • @MrDenizen @MrDenizen He was referring to the incident where Don Corleone secured Johnny's release from a personal services contract with a bandleader by having Luca Brasi threaten him with a gun. Movie shows only the conversation between Michael and Kay about Luca, book describes it better. Look for "Godfather - Wedding - Michael about Luca Brasi" on my channel.

  • @muniez92 in real life it had to do with frank sinatra getting locked out of contract by Tommy Dorsey. so sinatra being the connected guy that he was went back to the NY mafia kingpin willie moretti they muscled in on tommy dorsey and made him an offer he couldnt refus. thus giving the contract to sinatra making him a big star! ( Tommy Dorsey was a " Band Leader")

  • @MrDenizen Watch the movie!!!

  • Amazing how they snuck in the house and put the horse head in there without Woltz waking up. lol

  • @jblcn1042 Probably drugged his drink?

  • One thing about this scene that you only get to see in the book is how surprised Tom was to realize that this man took business very personally and was willing to go against the Don for a woman.. I loved that.

  • @illiterateno2 i was never 100% sure by when woltz said "she ran off", what he exactly meant.that his great piece of ass left him to bang fontane? or that maybe she was intimitated by johnny on a hollywood/talent standpoint.

  • SHOULD BE TOP 5 BEST LINES & SCENES..........she was beautiful....and i've had them all over the world!........and a man in my position can't afford to be made to look ridiculous! .....I ain't no band leader...yeah, I've heard that story.........mr. corleone is a man who insists on hearing bad news immediately!......BEST MOVIE LINES OF ALL TIME!

  • In the book the horse's head was on top of the covers. I guess for the movie it worked better to be under.

  • @nrkgalt there are soo many small and huge differences between the book and the movie. It was under to build tension and astonish the viewer.

  • @muniez92 Some little things are cool. One of the cool things about books is you get to hear what the characters are thinking. Like when Waltz invited Tom to dinner but refused to budge on the movie part, Tom's thoughts are, "Then why the fuck did you waste my time by having me come out here?"

  • @muniez92 my vagina is itchy can u please scrach it

  • @nato2300 go to a gynecologist it maybe some kind of fungus...

  • @nato2300 May I?

  • @muniez92 I couldn't put the book down once I got past the first ten pages. Mario Puzo is a national treasure.

  • @muniez92 The book contained interesting insights into the character of the Godfather, his willingness to destroy a $600,000 prize animal without giving Woltz the least warning, and rendering powerless all of his influence and riches and connections. Its a powerful lesson in psychology.

  • @nrkgalt Makes sense-of course if Lucca Brazzi just dumped a 50 lb bloody horses head on top of the covers-after he ruthlessly killed the poor beautiful horse and snuck up through the locked doors and windows of the mansion past all the servants who saw and heard nothing-then the guy would sleep through all that--talk about suspension of disbelief.

  • @RPenta So true..LOL

  • @RPenta Maybe he was drugged?

  • @TytusTolshemLives and everybody else in the house? Not a bad thought but not in the movie.

  • @RPenta Paid off, came at a time they were gone, intimidated into non-action--all plausible considering it's the mafia they're up against.

  • @TytusTolshemLives Guess all these paid off intimidated people could not call the cops- Lucca does not strike me as the kind of guy that drugged people-a bit too subtle for him.

But your fan fiction version of the script is interesting.

  • @RPenta Fan fiction? I'm not sure you actually know what that is. It's called filling in the gaps, something that didn't necessarily need to be explained and certainly not a plot hole. Who's to say they sent Lucca at all, obviously such subtle work isn't his specialty. Also why would paid-off servants call the police? They'd be putting their lives in danger, whether they were bought or not by reporting them.

  • @TytusTolshemLives It's called making up stuff where there are illogical gaps-like Lucca Brazzi had the smarts to scope out this mansion, locate and kill the horse, haul the huge head past the locked gates through the locked doors into Jack's master bedroom and insert the head UNDER the bedcovers and leave all without detection.

Oh, I forgot he paid off all the servants and drugged Jack BEFORE he inserted the head. Try using your mind, it isn't hard if you try.

  • @RPenta You totally lack any imagination and apparently any reading comprehension as I've answered all of your questions already. Where is it said Lucca was in charge of this task? You are aware the Corleone's have more soldiers at their command than just him, right? Also, look back, I never said they drugged every in the mansion, just the producer, and perhaps paid off or intimidated whatever servants were still within at that time. There is nothing implausible about this explanation.

  • @RPenta "Try using your mind, it isn't hard if you try." Quoting me, I like that, I'm very flattered, but you might want to try heeding your own advice before trying to be witty, otherwise it just makes you look like an ass. It's a mansion, not a complex military facility that requires a blue print to navigate, doors can be picked (or keys acquired), people drugged and paid off. What is so unlikely about bribing at the most three people at four in the morning?

  • @RPenta Going back to your "fan fiction" claim, you may as well challenge how Michael got to Italy, surely the police would have picked him up or airport or dock security would have caught him trying to leave, to which I would say they simply managed to evade detection and smuggled him aboard a plane or boat. By your definition of the term my explanation would be fan-fiction. Use your imagination, it isn't hard if you try. Suspension of disbelief comes with the medium.

  • it get better every time I see this part!!

  • i aint no band leader!!!!!!! lol x 50
