Pero sana, kung gagawa man tayo ng media item tulad ng pelikulang YOU TO ME ARE EVERYTHING, isaalang-alang muna kung may namimisrepresent tayong group or culture.. Haven't watched the movie yet at eto nga kakapanood ko lang ng trailer. Nakakaoffend, in fairness, dahil sa portrayal ng character ni Marian, Fransisca Carantes na definitely ay Ibaloi ng Benguet.. i think you should watch the entire movie first, then you'll understand the context of how they portrayed the Ibaloi tribe. I believe the streotypes on the mountain people were highlighted in the movie in order to dispute it later on. It makes me want to watch it now! Go watch it and let us know how you think.
