@Loonypics It could be one of the causes of the predicted falling away since according to 2 Thess 2,3 the falling away happens in connection with the rise of the Antichrist. That would disrupt the faith many pre-tribbers. Jesus gives us another cause of the falling away. He said: "Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name. At that time many will fall away..." Matt 24,9-10. This is before the "great tribulation" in v 21.

@GabrielAnsley - Yes, the truth is sometimes pleasurable and at other times painful. Much end-time truth is painful (who wants to be post-trib anyway?! If only pre-trib could be true! - but it isn't). The pleasurable part of end-time truth is the expectation of being changed and receiving a body like the Lord's and then meet Him when He comes in glory will all the angels, or if martyred see the Lord and then be resurrected when he comes in glory. It's a win win situation anyway!! :D

It reads: "whom heaven must receive until the period of restoration of all things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets from ancient time." The period of restoration of all things points to the coming kingdom of Christ on earth. Yes, Christ will stay in heaven until He comes to reign after the end-time tribulation!
@eddienickels1 - You're right, they won't. The explanation I provide is not something anyone "likes" least of all me! The truth can be painful at times, especially concerning the end-time. But praise God, He will never abandon His own, even in the worst tribulation. He sustained all those believers who were beheaded and crucified by the Romans, as well as all those believers who were burnt at the stake by the apostate church. He will likewise be with His own in the troublesome days to come.

Did you know the Greek word I dwelt on appears only twice in all the books of the "NT". They are found only in Paul's famous rapture passage. Makes you wonder, doesn't it! I guess Paul was thinking about Daniel 7:25; 8:24; 11:33; 12:7 among other end-time prophecies.

What got me investigating was the fact that Paul uses the phrase I point out twice in the space of 3 verses. Paul must be making a point I thought repeating himself like that. This was the BEST video I've seen in awhile...maybe ever...concerning there being no pre-trib rapture! I never looked up that word "remain"!!! For me it was enough that it says outright within the text that they're remaining "until the coming of the Lord." It's so straightforward! However, once one is indoctrinated in a false teaching, it takes someone to do what you're doing and really dissect and explain it. Awesome job! I learned something new! :)

@Jimvesterstallone - You never cease to flatter me! ;D I never realized the meaning either until fairly recently! What got me investigating was the fact that Paul uses the phrase I point out twice in the space of 3 verses. Paul must be making a point I thought repeating himself like that. Sometimes it helps turning some rocks that haven't been turned! And as always when it concerns the end-time it points to a post-trib scenario. Let's "gird up our loins" as the Scriptures say and be watchful!

Good job pointing out the true from the word of God. Some people are hanging on to the false hope pretribulation rapture. Most all churches in America teach this lie. Think how better prepared we could be if Christians did not hold this belief.
