nice!! ... but try the guitar playing higher on the neck... play a "Amaj7" just above the 12th fret for the first chord... then drop it a whole step for the second chord... you get a sound MUCH closer to the record... trust me.. I play this with my cover band!
I totally agree. Jim5150jvc has mentioned this in an earlier post, and when I went to hit reply, I hit remove by mistake. I wish there was a confirm pop-up window for the remove option. It is not the first time I did that by mistake.
Actually this is the best way i found to play it: 1st chord Amaj7 with open drones: 1st string 12th fret pinky 2nd string 9th fret 1st finger bar 3rd string 9th fret 1st finger bar 4th string 11th fret 3rd finger 5th,6th string open 2nd chord E sus4 with open drones 1st string: 12th fret pinky 2nd,3rd,4th string: 7th fret bar first finger 5th,6th string open. I'll post a video if i get a chance
Very nice, but try alt1962's advice with the chords. of course, that might be the right key for you.
