I was thinking of breaking the powder off the sticks, grind it into a fine power, pack it into a pingles can and tape the hell out of it. Anyone are welcome to try it, just remember to post it.

Have you ever tried those " advanced sparklers on a wooden stick"? You know, the ones that have the paper wrapping and look like a "bottle rocket"? They have FAR more "raw powder" than the "wire based sparklers" have. Try this: Get about 50 of them, and cut the "powder tube" from the "sticks", wrap it in tape as usual and use a conventional "wire" sparkler to set it off. Do not try this within city limits because it'll make one HELL of a bang.. Trust me!:-)
