I guess they modify in studio. Thats a lot of money to test each weapon in each terrain.

@7cl7 dont forget to take into account wind speed, angle of firing, temperature (will change the density of the air), altitude (different pressures affect the density of the air)... the sights could be perfectly set but it wouldnt be accurate... those factors would make your shot constantly change

when i'm pissed as a merc i use it for a round or two. Then swicthc to somethign else mercs guns i find crp except for Sasr an AK47 and the m60 for its huge clip.

correction this is the m60oe3 from previous socoms. and yes a hk5 or mp5 is a sub-machine. gun.. this is a assault sch as a m4a1 or m16a2. check it.

There is a MK48 which is like a M249 chambered for 7.62, lightened, and covered in rails

The HK M249 (or 249 SAW) is chambered for 5.56 NOT a 7.62.  The MK48 is a SAW based platform for a 7.62, a little more accurate but less distance then the M60 / M240b ........just so you know.

Just so you know, I was responding to a guy who said there wasn't an M249 in Socom, I told him there was a MK48 which is of a similar platform but upgraded considerably. I also never said the M249 is chambered for 7.62...

And just so you know, FN makes the M249 (or 249 SAW)........just so you know.

if you use the drum like in SOCOM

but they only need so much for sound capture
