  • Nice footage!

  • Awesome Video!!! I can see why this place is 1 of the best places to Railfan. There are not to many places where a Train can " Loop " itself !

  • Nice wood pecker in the video. lol

I dream of going there one day...

  • very entertaining, this aussie may one day go there and see for himself...

  • classic masterpiece

  • I love to call Tehachapi Te-hatch-a-poop, sorry if the humor is too guttural. Last year on the way back from Death Valley I spent a day parked inside the Tehachapoop loop. I like your comment at 3:33, I watched a farmer pulling a long horse trailer pull in front of a train descending into the loop do the same thing. He missed by 100 feet, the train didn't even try to stop -- it would have derailed the train. Thank God for Operation Lifesaver.

  • One more note, the Tehachapi loop goes back to the 1800's, right? Second greatest train engineering feat after the transcontinental railroad?

    Thanks, trackandtrain

  • do you ever stall? there were two stalling trains this past weekend....when it started raining

  • i drive this route on "MSTS" trainsimulator with 6 locomotives and 118 cars.

    I like this route!

  • I love Tehachapi's place beautful and sunny too

  • Oh, I didnt count....not over 100 or anything.

  • I liked that hotshot racing by.

  • Nice place. How many cars, if you counted, was the BNSF train?
