"Higurashi no naku koro ni" is, for me, like a thriller anime.

In the first season, the author put all crime scene.

And in the second, he show all the way they are resolved.

That's why this is an originality of this anime.

But, yeah, only the first season is insane (like you said) because the author dared to show the murders scenes. But in crime scene, there's obviously some violent act, no? hence, i think what the author did is justify.

I have only had one music box... and its has doves painted on it. I loved it sense i got it. I use to fall asleep to it every night. It was so soothing to me.
